I gave into some of the Labor Day sales and bought a Bear Creek Arsenal 16" 6.8 SPC II barrel from Primary Arms just to get into the caliber. The muzzle threads are 1/2 x 36 and I have an adapter on the way to convert it to 5/8 x 24 and am a little concerned about one side or the other loosening. The adapter is from Brownells and is shoulderless so it should have threads along the entire length of it. I'm wondering if applying Locktite/Rocksett to the 1/2 x 36 side would allow...
